Some Facts about Swine Flu
And Prevention: *
FACTS:
·
More people have died in the last year from “seasonal
flu” (20,000) than “swine flu” (1,000)
·
The concern is how fast it spreads, not death
·
Symptoms include: fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, headache,
chills and fatigue
PREVENTION:
·
Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze; throw away
·
Wash your hands often with soap/water or use alcohol based
rub
·
Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
·
Avoid close contact with sick people
·
If you are sick with flu-like symptoms, stay home for 24 hrs
after your fever is gone
